As a visual artist, educator, and therapeutic healer, I am particularly interested in exploring the energetic connection between all living things: sea, land and our physical bodies.
Through the language of visual art I communicate this connection as well as the philosophy of constant movement and change.
I was looking for an artist that could teach me the basics of encaustics and beyond. I contacted Angela and we set up our first three hour encaustic workshop. Right away, I felt at ease with Angela. She showed me the basic techniques, and then let me experiment with my own ideas. We talked about what I wanted to accomplish and discuss what techniques would be best. Angela is very easy to talk to and has a gentle encouraging way of guiding you to develop your style. Angela is very knowledgeable about the process, is very generous with her materials and made me feel comfortable in her studio right away. You will not regret taking a class with Angela. She is fantastic!Alyssa G Caroselli, Artist
I truly enjoy teaching adults and teenagers to paint! My many years of experience teaching both adult workshops and high school students through the International Baccalaureate art program in Maryland has brought me much joy.
No matter your level of experience, I would love to see you at one of my upcoming painting classes.
Angela creates a fun, supportive environment for learning new skills and enhancing her students’ ability to express themselves creatively. Her love of the encaustic medium is evident, and her classes encourage experimentation and personal empowerment whether, like me, you’re just starting out on your artistic journey, or whether you’ve been doing encaustic for years.Erin M, aspiring artist
